We provide service across
Suriname, and cover all the usual services you would expect from a plumber and
gas fitter but it doesn’t stop there.
Our aim is to understand
your problem and provide the best possible solution.
All our clients have the
option of a complimentary annual plumbing inspection, because just as you would
a check-up at the doctors, we want to make sure the plumbing of your home is in
its best condition.
Due to the expansion of our services, we are looking for
certified installers with experience to join our team!
Duties And Responsibilities
Diagnose plumbing problems and perform repairs, Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures.
Locate and repair gas and water line leaks and remove clogs.
Install and/or repair household appliances like dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, etc.
Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper function.
Requirements And Qualifications
Preference for someone with a GASAWA certificate
Specific responsibilities include:
– Install all plumbing systems and supports by using approved job drawings and manufacturer’s instructions.
– Install lavatories, toilets, urinals, and cafeteria plumbing fixtures.
– Install drinking fountains.
– Install sanitary sewer systems and potable water systems.
– Practice on the job safety.
– Identify obstructions to be avoided by inspecting structure.
– Keep plumbing equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
– Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
– Be able to test all plumbing (gas & water) systems per job specifications. This position is Full Time,
Report irregularities to the Plumbing Foreman.
1+ years of professional plumbing (gas & water) experienceable to read technical designs and blueprints Proficient
with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment Expert knowledge in piping systems
Available to work on call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies
Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
